School and Youth Prevention

Young people are increasingly vulnerable to human trafficking regardless of gender, race or socioeconomic status. Traffickers meet youth online, at parties, through “friends” and can even be a family member. Students are often groomed and trafficked while still attending school. This is why Unbound is passionate about empowering young people to stay safe and act as agents of change in their communities.

Our Youth Prevention presentations equip students with an awareness of human trafficking both globally and locally, helping them identify potentially exploitative situations and make informed decisions about who to trust. We cover online and social media safety and empower them to identify when their friends may be in trouble. These presentations are infused with hope and designed to encourage youth to avoid danger themselves and to be a “Sentinel” and a reformer who affects powerful transformation in society.
